WESTON NEWS NOTES Dr. Leo Hawkes was the guest speaker at the 'Weston Relief Society So-ciety meeting Tuesday. He discussed dis-cussed problems of health. Mrs. Sara Nelson was reelected to serve a three year term cn the district school board. Mrs. Nelson has been the clerk for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brower or Preston were attending to some business matters and visiting with friends here last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Christensen and daughter, Sharon of Preston were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Preston last Sunday. Henry Watkins of Logan was a business visitor here Friday. Mrs. Helen Petterborg and daughter Judith Ann, Mrs. Mary Coburn and son, Don, of Preston were visiting friends here Friday of last week. Mrs. Elnore Jensen Goodwin of Trenton, Utah, visited during the week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Tteynolds Pearson of Cornish, Utah, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maurtiz Pearson last week. Mrs. Margaret Lemmon who has been 'confined to her home the past winter is much improved in health and expects to be about soon. Mrs. Ada Porter of Ogden spent the week-end here attending to business matters. John Reeder of Cornish was attending at-tending to some business matters here relative to the Weston Creek |
