Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum 15. Jensen of Logan, Utah, spent the week-end visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William IJ. Auger and Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Jensen and their families. Miss Joan Robinson of Preston was visiting school here Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Asa Webster and daughter Connie Webster returned home Friday after havrng spent the week in Los Angeles, Calif., visiting with their daughter, Gladys and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Webster. Junius Jepson of Mink Creek, Ben B. Johnson, Edward Neuen-swander, Neuen-swander, Henry Mockli and Murray Mur-ray Mortensen of Preston were in this community on business during the week. Keith Wooley of Tremonton, Utah, visited with Bernon Auger Saturday. Mrs. Chrissie B. Owen visited at the home of Mr3. Genevieve Wheeler Wheel-er Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wheeler and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harley Jepson and family in Mink Creek Sunday afternoon. Miss Carolyn Jepson returned with them to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Christian J. Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Denton M. Webster Web-ster and Mr. and Mrs. Percey W. Larsen motored to Smithfield, Utah, Wednesday to attend the fu- neral services of Mrs. Alice Thorn-ley. Thorn-ley. The annual school election was held Friday afternoon. Percey W. Larsen was elected trustee to succeed suc-ceed Asa L. Webster. Mrs. Asa Webster entertained on Monday evening in honor of her son. Dean, who is leaving Wednesday Wednes-day for army service. The time was spent playing games and refreshments re-freshments were served to about 50. Those from other towns were, Mv. and Mrs. Lorin Mendenhall, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mendenhall of Dayton; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Neuenswander of Weston; Mr. and Mrs. Lon Handy and Mrs. Mary Porter, Blaine and Seuel Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Denton M. Webster spent Monday in Pocatello visiting their son, Dee Webster. They spent Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Mecham. Harvey Larsen and LaMar Larsen Lar-sen of Preston were visiting in this community Sunday afternoon. |
