Show "SILVER WINGS'' RAY CONDIE MOTHER ATTENDS SONS GRADUATION The mother and family members of Ray C. Condle, young Preston flier who has now received his "Silver Wings," have returned home following a week's visit with him in California. They attended the graduation services on January 9 of Ray from the Army Air Corps unit at Mather Field near Sacramento. He is now Second Lieutenant In the corps. Mr. Condie joined the air corps last June, receiving his primary training at Heniet Field near Los Angeles, his basic training at Mof-fet Mof-fet Field near San Francisco and his advanced training at Mather Field. In attendance at tho special ex-erclBes ex-erclBes were his mother, Mrs. Caroline Caro-line J. Condie, his two brothers, George L. and Vera Dean, and his sister, Maxine Condie, all of Winder. Win-der. Ray was a Junior at the Utah State Agricultural rollege at the time he left school. He was taking tak-ing a Smith-Hughes course. In college he was active In music circles, cir-cles, and was a member of the chorus of two of the leading operas produced by the school. rt n |
