Show ''Leadership' Date Set Local interest in the annual Franklin County Leadership Week heightens as plans are unfolded for sponsorship of the 1942 event to take place in Preston March 5, 6, and 7, Thursday, Friday and Sat. urday. R. F. Campbell; general chairman, chair-man, reports that speakers widely known in the Intermountain area are being secured to be present, including President Harrison C. Dale of the University of Idahol an L. D. S. general, authority and other leaders in their fields. At the next genei-ai, committee meeting, January 23, a theme will be chosen, Mr. Campbell said. This year the three-day leadership leader-ship institute will be sub-divided into four major departments, with executives from the various groups from all portions ofi the county to be represented. These four departments,- and chairmen who will head them, include: Farm, Chase Kearl;- home, Mrs. Ora Packer and Mrs. Alice Merrill, Mer-rill, respective heads of Oneida and Franklin L.D.S. stake Relief Society organizations; religion, Paul R. Wynn and Dr. L, V. Merrill, Mer-rill, heads of Franklin, and Oneida stakes; Dr. O. R. Cutler and Supt. Campbell will head the current affairs af-fairs department. Davis, Ernest Britenbeker- music. S. J. Lundjuist, Mrs. R. R. Rowll, Harold Swift; transportation, A. C. Conine; publicity, Newell Hart, Dale Roe; housing, J. C. Forsgren; community play plans, Mrs. G. L. Tanner, E. R. Spilsbury. T.! R. Bowden was naimed responsible for ipresentation of the USAC opera "Rigoletto" in Preston, and W. H. Simmons is investigating the possibilities pos-sibilities of arranging for the appearance ap-pearance of the Brigham Young University chorus. Acting as secretary on the general gen-eral committee is Mrs. Selma Handley, with executive committeemen committee-men consisting of R. R. Rowell, Di, L. V. Merrill, Paul R. Wynn and Dr. O. R.
