Show Couple Spends Quiet Day At Home With Family Members 1 Tuesday, January. 13, marked the fifty-first wedding anniversary of Patriarch and Mrs. Reese Davis. One-year ago the couple presided at an open house reception to mark their Golden Wedding Day. 'This year, however, due to uhe recent re-cent illness of Mr. Davis the da was spent quietly at their home with members of the family. The couple were married January Janu-ary 13, 1891, in, Preston and later moved to Great Fills, Montana, where Mr. Davis was employed by the Great Northern Railroad. He retired from the railroad service after forty-three years of consecutive consecu-tive service and returned to Preston Pres-ton to make his home. He was an engineer in the passenger service at theHime of his. retirement. Children of the couple include Mrs. Mable Cutler of Preston, ReeEe J. Davis of Twin Falls, Mrs. Annie Hutchins of Qgden.and Mrs. Adeline Fortie of Preston. There are fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandKmildren. o O |
