Show Demand for Wool Makes Good Year for Herdsmen A 45 per cent increase in consumption consump-tion of clothing and combing wools, together to-gether with a decline in numbers of sheep on farms, brighten the prospects of the sheep industry for 1934. The annual outlook report for agriculture states that world wool production is smaller. Australia, South Africa and New Zealand report smaller clips 14, 11, and 3 per cent, respectively, less than those of last year. Sheep population is now trending downward, but this tendency is not expected to continue for long. |
