Show Regulations Made for Relief Workers Jos. Matscn, manager of Sanpete county N. R. S., has just been advised from state headquarters thct new orders, or-ders, concerning the registration and the doling cut of work on the relief program, had been received, which, it is believed, will work cut more satisfactorily satis-factorily and sot at right some of the grievances which many of the workers work-ers entertain. The new requirements are that the Sanpete county office transfer from the "active" to the "inactive" file all names of persons who have1 not notified noti-fied tlie county office that they are still unemployed and want employment. employ-ment. This movement is to be carried out in order to create statistical data. The head of the department at Salt Lake has also asked the county manager man-ager just how many persons are still unemployed and need employment. Many persons, who registered months ago, have fourd other employment or do not want the relief work now, and have failed to notify Mr. Matson. All persons who have registered and are still unemployed, and who are still seeking' employment, according to Mr. Matson, must notify the county office, of-fice, to that effect once each month until they are placd, or advise that they have found other work. It is important im-portant that this information be widespread wide-spread among the "registered" unemployed unem-ployed so their cards may bo kept in active file until they are placed in employment. If such notices are not received from the applicant, either in person or by postcard or some other means, this card will be fled "inactive" and will be in line for reference to any opening that may occur. |
