Show Former Resident DiesatTremonton Mrs. James Nielsen and son, Roldo Nielson, and Sanford Anderson, who were called to Tremonton last week to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Caroline Anderson Jansen, have returned to their homes in this city. Mrs. Jansen was- a sister to Mrs. Nielson and Mr. Anderson, j Mrs. Jansen, 44 years of age, was jborn in the Gunnison valley, and in 1919 she and her husband moved to j Tremonton. Death came following a ! serious operation performed a few days before the end came. She was the daughter of Custave Cmil and Sarah B. Hensn Anderson, now residents of Salt Lake City. After Mrs.. Jansen grw to womanhood, she was married to Charles Jansen, thr j ceremony being performed at the ; Manti temple, December 20, 1911, and ' until 1919 they made this valley their home. i Mrs. Jansen, during her residence here, was known for her kind ami lov-1 lov-1 ing ways, and she numbrred her friends by the hundreds. She was a ! member of the L. D. S. church and i was always active in the work of the auxiliary departments. While at Tre-' Tre-' monton, she gained a wide friendship ' and her many friends there, as well as in Gunnison, will deeply grieve with those who are left to mourn. Funeral services at Tremonton last Friday were highly impressive and splendid tributes were paid Mrs. Jansen. Surviving Mrs. Jan?en ar- the husband hus-band of Tremonton; six children, four daughters, Elma, Lvd'a, Ro-elyn, Or-pha, Or-pha, and two sons, Woodrow and La-Mar, La-Mar, of Tremonton; the parents,. Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Anderson of Salt l ake; three sisters, Mrs. James Kiel-son Kiel-son of Gunnison, Mrs. Harry Bench and Mrs. Les Robinsen of Manti, and 'ore brother, Sanford And-rsen of Gunnison. |
