Norman Johnson, office manager in Gunnison for the Telluride Power company, with Mrs. Johnson and ch'ldren, returned Monday after a two-week vacation. They spent their, i tnr-e visiting in northern Utah and Idaho cities. I Miss Maxine Sanders is spending a week at Richf'eld with relatives and friends. She will return Sunday and Monday, accompanied by her .sister, Miss Elithe Sanders, will go tj Ml. Pleasant, where bcth will register at Wasatch academy for the fall and winter term. Miss Ruby Christiansen, an employee em-ployee at the off'ces of the Mt. States Telephone & Teli graph company at Salt Lake, has returned to her work after spending thne days visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hy- rum Christians!). Miss Jennie Jones and Miss Aleda Christiansen, who were return'ng from a i cast trip, stopped over Sunday Sun-day and Monday and visited at the Ilyrum Christiansen home. While on the coast the travelers visited at Los Angeles with Mr. and Mrs. Fldon Will.'inir.on, Mr. and Mrs. Bert W 1-lardson 1-lardson and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wil-lardfon. Wil-lardfon. They also visited the fair at San Diego and many beach resorts. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harris were back from Salt Lake Monday. Mrs. Harris motored north Friday, and Saturday Mr. Harris went to the capital c'ty. They were visiting with intimate friends and relatives. Chas. Rasmu -.sen, h.a::l of the Chas. Rasir.ussen Furn'ture company, Mrs. Rasmus'-.en and Moyli? Rasmussen, motored to Ne.phi Monday afternoon and were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. C. Bryan. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Randall Jones of Salt Lake, and who were returning from an outing out-ing at Fishlake, made a brief stop in Gunnison and visiled with Bishop and Mrs. Hyrum Christiansen. Mrs. Wesley Duggins entertained a group of close friends Sunday evening eve-ning complimentary to the birthday anniversary of Mr. Duggins. A hot dinner was served at small tables at eight-thirty, covers be'ng laid for twenty-two. Progressive 500 was the diversion following the dinner. |
