Gunnison - Le-van Le-van highway between ' Fayette and the Juab eounty line, the . Gunnison Lions club, at the regular luncheon meeting held at the Wistaria last week, plans were inaugurated to aid in the matter insofar as possible, arid to the end of .having the highway in the best of condition and to have the distance shortened it is proposed tc suggest that many of the useless crooks and curves be eliminated and that a few cuts be made. A committee com-mittee was named to work .on the plan and to' take it up with officials and engineers of the commission. J. M. Knighton, who recently enrolled en-rolled as a member of the Gunnison club, gave a comprehensive report of the dairy project which is being boosted in the valley. Mr.'- Knighton" Knight-on" has shipped some ten .or ; twelve fancy dairy cows to the valley, which he has placed . among many of the farmers of the valley and in his talk before the ' club members he stated that the highest satisfaction has resulted. Mr. Knighton is financing fi-nancing many of the farmers in the purchase of high grade dairy cows and it is believed that within a few years Gunnifon Valley will rank among the best and biggest mill producers in Southern Utah.
