Show Peter Beck Dies At American Fork A. A. Beck, of Centerfield, received re-ceived the sad intelligence of the death of his father, Peter Beck, at American Fork, early last Monday morning. Due to failing health a id advanced age, little hope was I. eld out for his recovery and death v. an expected. For several years Jj'r, Beck enjoyed poor health and some .two weeks ago he was forced to his bed. He sank gradually and M day morning at six o'clock he passed t to the great unknown. Mr. Beck was a native of Denmark and when but 12 years of age he jt:ame to America, and settled in Utah. He had been a resident of Utah county for many years. He never resided in this valley but was : well known, having made a wide ac- j quaintance through his many visits to the home of his son, A. A. Beck. He is survived by his widow, six boys and six girls, and 'forty-two grandchildren. Funeral services are being held j today at American Fork. The son residing here, Alex Beck, together j with his family, and Mr. and Mrs. i Floyd Beck, left early this morning : for American Fork to attend the ! funeral. |
