Show POULTRY ASSOCIATION MEETS ! The Gunnison Valley Poultry asso-l ciation held a meeting at Centerfield ; ednesday with a large number of its members present. At the meeting T. M. Kearns gave a brief outline of the accomplishments of the poultry meeting which was held in Salt Lake City on January 27th. His talk was largely upon the future possibilities of the poultry industry in the valley. J. R. Nelson gave a talk on general! poultry care and management. Benj. Brown addressed the gathering at length on marketing plans to be conducted con-ducted through the Utah Poiutry Producers, Pro-ducers, Inc. wheh organization has just been perfected in Salt Lake and of which Mr. Brown has been chosen as president. Mr. Brown gave a gener- al comparison of Utuh eggs with I those produced in California on the' same markets of the United States. The Utah, eggs are on a par with the Pctaluna eggs and bearing as high a quality with the eggs from that part of the couoitry which has come to be regarded as the egg basket of the world. Many new members are joining join-ing and it is expected to make a membership mem-bership drive within a short time which when completed will make the organization here the largest in the ; state. Miss Beck gave a rending at the meeting Wednesday night. Another An-other meeting is to be held January fith at Centerfield for the purpose of completing the plans of the association. associa-tion.
