Show TAXATION REDUCTION CAMPAIGN In California, Oregon, Washir ton, Idaho and Montana Governors Gover-nors are hamering the legislatures to reduce the overhead of taxation sothat the farmers and industries can exist. The Wyoming state budget for biennium 1923-24 was laid before be-fore the seventeenth legislature by Governor Ro. recommending appropriations ap-propriations totaling $2,502,434.62 for thej two-year period, compared compar-ed with appropriations of $3,1 52,152.02 for the present biennium a reduction, for the coming two years of $649, 7 I 7.40. The reduction recommendetl approximately equals the annual reduction in state's tax income resulting from a decrease in Talue of assessable property. In submitting the buget, Governor Ross sawl: "In common with the entire country, the state has suffered severely from the general financial depression prevalent for the past two yers. The amount of delinquent tajces is greater than ever before in the history of the state. All industry has suffered, not excepting the oil industry, which due to new development, h aa perhaps felt the l.-asc effect irom general conditions.
