Show LOCAL CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR IS GIVEN HIGH PRAISE I The Salt Lake Tribune of February 6, has the following to say through its dispatches of the Intermediate Christian Endeavor society of Gunnison: Gunni-son: "If there is one Intermediate Christian Chris-tian Endeavor society in the state of Utah that is nearly 100 per cent efficient effi-cient it is the Intermediate society of the Presbyterian chapel of Gunnison, j So spoke the Rev. A. V. Roand of Mt. Pleasant, local pastor of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church at that city and pastor-counselor for the Utah State Christian Endeavor union, upon his return yesterday from Gunnison. I where he 'is holding regular services twice a month. ! "Every Endeavorer in the Gunnison society," continued the Rev. Mr. Bonad, "takes an active part in every i meeting. Every Endeavorer stays for ! the evening church sendee which follows fol-lows immediately after the young people's peo-ple's meeting; and every Endeavorer carries with him his own bible or New Testament and reads with the pastor the scripture lesson of the evening." j So appreciative is Mr. Boand of the excellent work that is being done by the young folks of Gunnison that he! lis of the opinion that there is scarcely; I another Christian Endeavor society in j the "iuntry 'of wdiich the foregoing j statements are true.
