The Mayfield farm bureau was reorganized re-organized here Tuesday evening of last week with the following officers selected to act for the ensuing year:j L. D. Larson, president; O. J. Christiansen, Chris-tiansen, vice-president; John M. Larson, Lar-son, secretary-treasurer. W. F. Wi-lardson Wi-lardson and H. C. Bogh were chosen as board members. The women's section of the county farm bureau was also organized and Mrs. L. D. Lorson was selected president. pre-sident. Mrs. Hyrum Olson was elected vice-president and Mrs. O. J. Chris-j tianson, secretary-treasurer. The board members named were Mrs. E. V. Bunderson and Mrs. W. F. Willard-son. Willard-son. Miss Dorothy Scow, was pleasantly surprised Sunday afternoon by fifteen fif-teen friends, it being her 13th birthday birth-day anniversary. Games and music-were music-were enjoyed until 4 o'clock, after which ice cream and cake were served. ser-ved. Mrs. Joseph Christiansen delightfully delight-fully entertained a number of friends last Monday afternoon in honor of her birthday anniversary. At 5 o'clock a delicious supper was served to those present. Mrs. Clyde Whitlock pleasantly entertained en-tertained Thursday afternoon in honor hon-or of her birthday anniversarv. Earlv i in the evening the hostess served a hot super to a number of her friends. Mss Josie Larson entertained Monday Mon-day for the I. W. W. club. The evening even-ing was spent in needlework and music mu-sic and at 10 o'clock dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs . Hyrum Christiansen, who spent some time visiting at Salt Lake, has returned to her home in May-field. May-field. Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus O. Nielson of I Ephraim, spent the past week with Mr. and Mrs. John Mickelson of thi:; city. Mrs. Olive N'cilson entertained Wed nesday evening at a "quilting bee" to a number of lady friends. Mrs. E. C. Scow spent Wednesday and Thursday of last week in Manti visiting with relatives. |
