Show J iDR VEHICLE BILL RECEIVED SENATOR PETERS INTRODUCES .MEASURE CH ANGING LICENSE FEE AND GASOLINE TAX The loncc-expected amendment to ths state motor vehicle, laws, including the jasoiine tax' law, was introduced Thursday in the senate by Senator J. W. Peters of Doxelder county. The gasoline tux bill is about s already announced as the recommen-jatlon recommen-jatlon of the state commission on revision re-vision of taxation, except that the rate carried is two and one-half cents a gallon, instead of two cents advo-;ated advo-;ated by some, and three cents advo- :ated by others. Licensing of dealers j in motor vehicle fuels is carried in the I bill, and provision is made for col'.ec-! col'.ec-! tion of the tax from the distributors, who may, of course, pass the tax iloru; to the consumer.
