Show I Believe Enough Is Enough I want to express my feelings on the proposition put forth by our city Government to mandate that all households participate in commercial commer-cial garbage collection. What with the new sewer system, water, telephone, tele-phone, television, electric, heating charges along with increased prop- i. r i i i i i eriy taxes lor uie new scnooi oonu expense and cost of the natural gas service - a charge of $30 a month on top of their gas bill, (which many will use), I believe that "enough is enough." Many have already signed up with JW Disposal for their garbage pick-up, that is fine. They want this service for themselves. It's their choice. As for myself, and I have heard numerous numer-ous others say also, it is not that much of a problem (when they go out) to drop off a bag of garbage at the green boxes. I know that the areas around the green boxes are trashy and that some people unfortunately unfor-tunately will always drop off an applicance or other large item ille- gaily. I also believe that, at least some of the above has occurred because of the past charges levied to take the items to the transfer station and that many people do not know there is no longer a charge for doing so. I believe there is enough volunteer vol-unteer spirit still left in our com munity and I would be the first to say that I would be one to take the occasional large unauthorized item to the dump and to pick up some around the green box when I go there, which is quite frequently. To conclude, I know that our city fathers fa-thers are frustrated with the situation, situa-tion, but I am sure that many will agree with me that with taxes, charges for government services etc. that half of our income is gone before we begin trying to pay for our food, clothing, transportation, education and all the other necessi ties of life that we have precious, left for making our lives happy.
