Show . . .-l Scheduled August 11 and 12 S( Plans Complete For Garfield County Fair Activities are gearing up for this year's Garfield County Fair August 11-12, with a new location expected expect-ed to generate renewed interest and support for the popular event. The fair will be held at the Social Hall and adjacent old North Ward lawn this year. J Instructions for entering exhibits were released this week, with representatives named in each community to receive the exhibits for transport to Panguitch. In Panguitch, exhibitors will take their displays directly to the Social Hall on Wednesday, August 9. On the same day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. exhibits can be delivered to the following area representative: rep-resentative: Gayle Moore in Can-nonville Can-nonville for Henrieville and Cannon Can-non ville; Kay Shakespear in Tropic for Tropic and Cannonville; and Ardis Evans in Hatch. Donna Osborn will receive Es-calante Es-calante exhibits at the first house west of the bank on August 9 between be-tween 1 and 4 p.m. while Susan Pollock in Boulder will receive Boulder's exhibits on Monday, August Au-gust 7 anytime during the day. Fair chairman Jean Seiler reports that an unusual number of commercial com-mercial exhibits are expected from agencies and businesses such as the Bureau of Land Management, Division of Wildlife Resources, Sevier Valley Tech, Garkane, Utah State Parks, RV dealers, auto tune-up tune-up representatives and many others. Seiler urges fair support for midway projects which will be operated op-erated by youth groups from all over the county as a fund raising effort for their various organizations. organiza-tions. Drill teams from all over the county have committed to taking part in the parade, with openings for floats, horsemen and other participants par-ticipants remaining. A special feature again this year that proved exceptionally popular last year is collections exhibits, with county residents invited to display their collections, whatever they are. They should be entered at the same time as other exhibits, with many prizes for the best and most unique.
