Graveside services for Sheila Blake, daughter of Mike and Vickie Veatcr Blake were held at the Panguitch Pan-guitch Cemetery. Her great-grandparents living here are Mary Coon and Tom and Ramona Proctor. We are so sorry about Sheila's untimely death. The Panguitch City offices have been moved from the County Courthouse to their new location in the former Middle School on Center street. Larger windows and other improvements arc being done to get the building ready for the new library. li-brary. It will really be great to be able to use the library and have access ac-cess to the city offices in the same building. Mary Perkins had all her family here for Thanksgiving except two grandchildren. It added up to 20 people and Mary said it was fun to have so many descendants and additions addi-tions from the original two children born to she and Ted, daughter Dawna and son Ron. Roland Bee went to California for the past holiday. Bob and Mary Dodds are staying here much longer than usual this winter. They've been moving cattle and hay to Elsinore where Billy J. Dodds will feed the cattle this winter. win-ter. Ray and Ruth Barnes were happy to have their kids, Paul and Lencta Yates here as well as grandson grand-son Josh Yates and great-grandson Danny Yates to enjoy a country Thanksgiving. Ruth spent a day in Richfield with Panguitchite Afton Church King making Christmas presents. It's nice to hear how Afton is doing. We miss her here. Mamie and Barbara Talbot went to Enoch to have Thanksgiving dinner with the Alan Talbot family. The Larry Barneys had Kris Barney Bar-ney and Kristy Evda from Tempc; Clint and Melissa Barney from Cedar City; the Finn and Sharon Higgs family from Salt Lake City and Viola Sudwecks here over the weekend. The Curtis Barneys joined the rest of the family for their yearly fun trip into the mountains moun-tains to cut Christmas trees. George Whiting was appointed Scout Committee Chairman and Lloyd LcFevre was Blazer Leader and Assistant Scout Master in the Panguitch LDS 1st Ward. The mission farewell was held for Troy Hcnrie, son of the Allen Henries. The Henrie family presented the program. A special musical number num-ber was beautifully performed by Troy and friends. Thirty-seven members of the Hope Goulding family met at the Charles Hcpworth home for their delayed Thanksgiving celebration. They had family from Pocatcllo to Fredonia gather together. Ryan and Tammi Houston have moved into the former Myrtle Heywood home. We have had beautiful sun shiney weather for the beginning of the holiday season. Where is our snow? I |
