Show By Marta Peterson 834-5306 The housing area at Bryce Canyon is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The Parson's home was the first in the neighborhood to be decorated for the holidays. It is always interesting to see the variety of decorations that emerge each year as the holiday spirit takes over. Mary Stonaker's sister, Sue O'NeilC Jrom .Elizabeth, Colo, journeyed to Bryce Canyon for a short visit. " The weather cooperated for some sightseeing trips. John Morlock traveled to sunny Tucson, Ariz, to attend a wilderness fire school. Richard Bryant enjoyed a sunny Florida vacation with family. There seems to be a trend here. The warm areas of the United States s 1 1 seem to be the geographical choice for travel. The main question floating around Bryce Canyon recently was who occupied the back seat in the long white stretch limousine that entered the park? It seems to be an imponderable. Helen Carson attended a contract specialist class in Denver, while Charlie Peterson and John Morlock spent time at the Glen Canyon participating in an Emergency Medical Technician course. Sue McGill, former Maintenance Mainte-nance Chief at Bryce Canyon and presently the Superintendent at Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Mon-ument, has accepted the prestigious Bienvenetto Fellowship. She will be spending two years in Washington, Washing-ton, D.C. working with the House Interior Committee. Way to go, Sue! |
