Show Belgian Student To Write 'Park9 Thesim Entranced with her July 1980 trip to Bryce Canyon National Park, Belgian college student Anne DuTrieu who plans a career as a travel agent has selected the park as the subject for her thesis. Bob Benfield, chairman of Garfield County and Color Country Travel councils, received a letter recently from Ms, DuTrieu soliciting help with Information for her paper. Benfield's comment was, "Great! We shoud help her all that we can, because this will be a boost for travel in Garfield County." Benfield said that the county had received many letters from appreciative and excited European visitors to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. He said he felt the National Park Service and the Natural History Association at Bryce would respond enthusiastically to the letter which he was forwarding to authorities at Bryce and at Cedar Breaks. He said he hoped that DuTrieu would in return send copies of her completed thesis. Her comprehensive riK Asked for history of the park, information about ifl geology, its organizational structurH (entrance fees, governing laws anH regulations, rangers' work, and fl variety of other subjects). She also requested informatiorl and statistics about the number ofl visitors, their nationalties, types ofl tours, scenic points and nearbyfl hotels or motels and other acl comodatlons. She will also include information! about the flora and fauna of both I Bryce and Cedar Breaks.
