Show fiREfi OBITUARIES v Elizabeth Elmer ST. GEORGE Elizabeth Simons Elmer, age 76 died November S, 1984 in St. George. Born Decmber 14, 1907 in Payson, Utah to Enos Wells and Elizabeth Rebecda Pickering Simons. Married Arthur Leland Elmer, June 28, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 26, 1984. Mrs. Elmer was a graduate of BYU. Taught school in Payson for two years. Lived in Antimony. The Elmers later moved to Panguitch where they owned and operated the A.L. Elmer Lumber and Hardware. Moved to St. George in 1965. Mrs. Elmer was active in the church auxiliaries. They served a full-time mission to Boston, Mass. Survived by one son and a daughter, Jerald Lee Elmer, Lompoc, Calif.; Mrs. Allen (Joan) Miller, Panguitch; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 10 a.m. in the St. George 6th LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Metcalf Mortuary, St. George, Thursday 7-9 and Friday 9-9:45. Interment, Payson City Cemetery, Friday at 4 p.m., under the direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. |
