Show senior Citizens Schedule Dinner for 100 Wednesday ranguitch-Hatch area senior citizens will schedule their monthly evening dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. with a turkey dinner. Some 100 people are expected to attend the affair which will be held at the senior citizens center in the basement of the Garfield County Courthouse in Panguitch. Pangui'tch-Hatch area senior citizens continue to receive lunch three days a week in the senior citizens center located in the basement of the courthouse. The nutritious meals are prepared by cook Gal Wilcock with the assistance of helpers Afton Church, Faye Worthen, Ruth Barnes, Dellis LeFevre, Doris Nichols and Dolly Henrie. Lunch is served at noon with reservations required by 9 a.m. Suggested donation for the meal is $1.50 for those age 60 and over and $3.50 for those under 60. The seniors enjoy a variety of activities at the center which is open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Pool is a popular game with the seniors and a tournament is planned to start soon. Quilting is popular with the ladies who specialize in both tied quilts and hand-quilting. Seniors also work jigsaw puzzles and play bingo every Wednesday afternoon.
