Show Bryce Of fere Variety Of Winter Activities w BRYCE CANYON Bryce Canyon National Park offers a variety of winter activities. Skiing, snowshoeing and winter camping are among the most popular sports available to winter visitors. Snow shoes are provided free at the park visitor center to those vfsitors wanting to hike away from the plowed trails. The visitor center Is open every day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Skiers will find easy to moderate skiing along the canyon rim and on the two specially marked crosscountry ski trails. Skiers can obtain a free winter activity permit at the visitor center. Winter campers can use North Campground near park headquarters as a base for their winter visit. North Campground has heated restrooms and plowed pull-offs. For the more adventurous the park has designed four backcoutnry campsites for overnight use by skiers and snowshoers. All main park roads and overlooks are plowed throughout the winter. Motels and restaurants near the park remain open all year.
