The dedicated work of Coach Maloy Dodds and assistant Bennett Josie together with the willingness of the entire Panguitch squad paid off at North Sevier as Troy Josie, Mac Hatch, Danny Frandsen, Chet Hailstone and William Hooper all placed high enough to earn a trip to state at Price. Hooper, placed highest as he won first place in the unlimited division. The big Bobcat wrestler put it all together Saturday and picked up his first place medal as region champion. William "Super Scoop" Hooper has led the team all season, along with 105 class wrestler, Troy Jose lost a preliminary round, but came back to win third place, although he had once beaten region champ Ron King of Piute. Hatch, Frandsen. and Hailstone, all proved that hard work pays In the end as I each showed a lot of skill and I determination in earning their 1 positions in the region elite. I |
