Show Bryce Visitor Numbers Up BItYCE CANYON - The number of visitors to Bryce Canyon National Park during October totaled 38,948, a 14 percent increase compared to the same month last year. Visitation for the first 10 months of the year shows an increase of 5 percent, with a total of 468,556 visits recorded. All park overlooks and roads are open and campsites are available at the park campgrounds. The park does not charge an entrance or camping fee during the winter. Park trails are in good condition, but hikers are advised to check at the park visitor center for up-to-date information since winter weather can cause rapid changes in trail conditions. The park lodge is closed, but motels and restaurants close to the park remain open all winter. |
