Show Escalante Chit Chat Fay Alvey Grant Spencer died at a Panguitch hospital after a long illness. Earl Woolsey is in St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City. Hal and Lasca brought Nethella home to see to things. Martha Twitchell was here while the Haney family held a reunion. Her operation was successful. McKay Bailey took LaFaye to the University hospital in Salt Lake City where she had surgery. The Talmage Taylors brought Lillie Spencer home and attended the reunion. Eldon Griffin brought his children here for LaVern and Mary, while Amber was in Garfield Memorial Hospital with a new daughter. Ivan and Nelda Willis went to Panguitch Lake to meet family members, fish and visit. All' Nelda caught was another cold. Nellie Bailey had Calvin and Martha Rae Schow from Kearns, Dale Reynolds from Provo. Glade and Delma Reynolds of Richfield, Rhoda and Duane Barney of Monroe called in for a visit. Laura Baker had daughter Laurel of Orem, and a nephew, Allen George from California. Chase and Helen Shurtz had son David Ray of Michigan. The Shurtz brothers had sister Vivian and husband, I Steven Colard of Boun-I tiful. I Hilda Roundy had her family home for the j weekend. j Steve and Beth Blakey of Springville brought i Evadean Listen home for , the weekend. j Klyn and Marlene Haws had son Robert home from Wyoming. The Arnold Alveys had Janeen Duncan and son Danny from Wayne County, Raylene and Deriise from . Salt Lake City. The descendants of Chris and Bell Christensen gathered here, then went to the old CCC camp for a reunion. There were 82 in attendance. Harold Griffin was here from Bloomington visiting relatives. Mina Porter had Bob and Sandra from Arizona, Haws and family and the Kenneth Griffins from Provo. Kim and Evelyn Lay visited the Lorell Mun-sons. Pratt Gates had his brother, Leone and wife here for the weekend. The Stan Listons had Lana Lord and family here from California. Cook Listen had Lois and Ralson Sprake here from Las Vegas, Nev. Berlin Osborn wrenched his back and is down for the count. They had a visit from Mack and Jo Barney from Cedar City. They also visited Claron and Grace Barney. Alvey and Laretta Sherman of Imperial Beach, Calif, visited here, here. The Colemans had brother LaFaye here from Salt Lake City. The Colemans got word that the Lynn Buttons of Kanab had a new baby daughter who had health problems so was flown to Salt Lake- City to a specialist. The Edson Alveys had Darwin Peterson and wife here from Salt Lake City. The class reunion was well attended. with about 60 in attendance. Fred and Shirley Wilson visited the Dave Marshals. The glorious Fourth is over and those with optimism made it an incentive to improve their patriotism. |
