Show Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans Lynn Evans Family To Host Open House HATCH The family of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans are honoring them on their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Hatch LDS Ward Cultural Hall on July 19 from 7 until 9 p.m. Lynn (Charley) Evans 3 was born September 3, ' 1907 at Provo Bench ( now Orem.) His parents were David and Myra Mayall Henrie Evans. I His wife, Noreen was born June 13, 1911 at Glendale, a daughter of I Thomas George and ; Sessie Merrill Gark. I They were married ' July 19, 1930 at Panguitch. Their marriage was later solemnized on December 6, 1933 in the St. George LDS Temple. Their children are Clark Lynn, Shirlene, Gwen, Ireta, and Deloy Vic. Mr. Evans has been active in the LDS church, serving as secretary and first counselor in the Elders quorum and has served for 20 years as a member of the Hatch town board. Now retired, he hauled logs for 38 years. His wife has also been active in the LDS Church, serving as president, counselor, and teacher in the Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association and also as counselor, secretary, and visiting teacher in the Relief Society. She has been organist in all the different organizations in excess of 46 years. Mr. and Mrs. Evans have lived in Hatch all of their married lives. They have 29 grandchidlren and 17 great grandchildren. |
