Show 'Law' Lectures Scheduled In Garfield Area Because many people are uncertain regarding issues concerning the law and their rights, a series of eight lectures has been prepared to assist the homeowner, taxpayer and citizen of the community to better understand everyday law. Understanding the basic principles of law can help individuals feel more secure in life, stand up for rights, and often save money. Lectures which will take place on Wednesday evenings during February and March, will feature specialists and professionals in their fields. Topics scheduled thus far: Feb. 7 "Family Law" (child abuse, parents and juveniles, divorce, etc ) Joseph E. Jackson, Juvenile Court Judge. Feb. 14 "The Constitution and the Thinking of Our Founding Fathers" The Freeman Institute with Cleon Skousen and Associates. Feb. 21 - "Trust and Estate Planning" Troy Thornton, Zion's Bank, Salt Lake City. Feb. 28 "Income Tax Problems" Laurel Holman. Mar 7 "Personal and Property Rights" Mar 14 "Consumer Law and Contracts" District Attorney, Russell L. Mahan. Mar. 21 - "Real Property" (taxes, titles, problems) Security Title Company.
