Show Bryce Valley Historic Program Starts TROPIC Braving a heavy snowfall on his trip from Salt Lake to Tropic, James Bourne, museum coordinator of the Utah Historical Society, made the services of his organization available to the Better Bryce Valley Committee when he met with Mike Ferrin, committee historical chairman Jan. 17. Discussing the pros and cons of museums and other ideas of the group, Bourne had many suggestions and much practical advice to give the members of BBVC whose goal is to upgrade the area historically, Top priority was given to Improving the town square with plans to be submitted to the Tropic Town Board by its February meeting. The group voted a special note of appreciation for DelRae Pollock after her resignation for personal reasons and LaMar Feltner was appointed, with approval by member's to take her place as Development Chairman. |
