Show Community Education Program In County Boasts Record Enrollment Pangultch-llatch Community Education classes have had the largest enrollment yet with over 120 students ranging from elementary age to senior citizen. Interested participants have been developing talents, tuning up bodies, or furthering their education through the variety of classes being offered this winter. From excitement and fun with the latest dance steps taught by Carolyn Dunn in her disco dance class to the peaceful self-expression gained in Jim Clarke's art classes, individual satisfaction has been the reward of all participating. Two adults will receive their high school diplomas as a result of their efforts this year and four others said they hope to obtain theirs in the next year or so. Among the evening classes enjoying particular success have been uVe disco dance class, art and ceramics, class, typing, photography, "The Law and You," adult education, women's slimnastics, men's gym and other smaller classes. As spring arrives it Is expected that additional classes with great appeal such as tennis, Spanish, and fly-tying will be offered. With some classes beginning very soon, interested individuals are encouraged to watch the Garfield County News for starting dates or they may contact Roene Dickinson at 676-2281. Information may also be obtained at the Community Education office located in the Panguitch Community Center. |
