Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Notice is hereby given that request of extension of time within which to submit Proof of Appropriation have been filed with the State Engineer, locations in Garfield County, Utah on the following applications : Change Appl. No. a-3977 (61 Area) owned by Jay E. & Norma G. Steiner, LuDean & Elva G. Nelson, William W. & Lettie L. Gibson, William and Mary W. Munford, Bart Wayne Mortensen and Yetta M Mortensen, J I) and Ha T. Walker, Glen W and Elma M. Marler, Norman R. and Marilyn J. Mortensen, Robert E White and Robert Hire covering 0.15 cfs. of water for domestic and irrigation purposes It is represented that that additional time is needed to complete the project and submit proof of appropriation. App No 16519 ( 97 45) owned by Board of Water Resources, 435 State Capitol, Salt Ijike City, Utah 84114 covering 23,279 acre feet of water from Boulder Creek, Escalante River, Sand Creek, and Death Hollow, tributaries to Colorado River in Garfield County, Utah for irrigation and incidental domestic, stockwatering and municipal purposes. It is represented that studies have been done concerning this area and additional time is needed to complete the studies and to complete the project and to make and submit proof of appropriation. Protests resisting the granting of these requests with reasons thereof must be filed in duplicate with the State Engineer, 442 State Capitol, Salt Ike City. Utah 84114, on or before April 29, 1978. A hearing will be held on these requests before the State Engineer at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16. and at 9 00 a.m., Monday, May 17, 1978, in the Garfield County Courthouse, Panguitch, Utah Protestants should appear at the hearing.
