Show Region Range Rides . Slated Tommorow The annual southern region range rides scheduled by the Utah Wildlife Resources will be held at Mt. Carmel Junction March 24 at 9 a.m and will study Poverty Flat with Helms as the officer in charge There will be 11 range rides in areas of Garfield County and surrounding areas The next ride will take pkee March 24 beginning at Cannon ville at 9 a.m. and will take place in Willis Creek Helms will be in charge Hintze will lead a range ride sprung in Parowan at 9 a.m. April and will take (he group to ducksrin-Cottonwood April 8 starting at :30 a.m. at Norm McKee home a group will go to Five Mile Mountain April 12 McKee will take a kroup to the Bull Rush area They are to meet at U-20 and US IN Junction at 9:30 a.m. April 14 McKee will ride the Antimony and anyone wishing to go should meet at the Antimony Store at 9:30 a.m. The Boulder Area will be the next area ridden with Gardiner taking charge. Anyone going on this and the next two rides should meet at the United States Forest Service Office in Escalante at 8 a.m. on the date indicated April 19 Gardiner will take a group to Whites Flat and April 20 to Upper Valley April 27 will be the next to the last range ride for the season in the Southern Region and will be held at Pole Canyon Anyone wishing to go should meet Bient Christensen in Cirdeville at 10 a.m. Other rides are available and if anyone is interested in learning of these rides should contact the Wildlife Officer in their area These rides are free to the public and are held to inform U- public of Uk areas around them |
