Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair 7-4K L. D and Tina Shakespear visited Mr and Mrs Obie Shakespear. Mr and Mrs Kevan Shakespear visited at the Roy Shakespear home Mr and Mrs Gordon Pollock spent the weekend with the Virgil Pollocks and Dean Wintchs Flora Dawn leFevre visited Flora IeFevre. Home from college for the quarter break were Kathy Ott, Martin Ramsay. Juanita Pollock. Nelda Shakespear and Kelly Shakespear. Lisa lieFevre visited with the John L. lieFevres. Kay and Maureen Mangum attended the Farm Bureau banquet and dinner dance at the Ft. Douglas Club in Salt Uke City. Quint Mecham visited in St George with Paul Mangum. Several of the Tropic teenagers attended the youth conference held in Beaver. Also attending were advisors; Marian and Margaret Shakespear. Clara Johnson, Gwen Brinkerhoff, Robin Gregory, Kay Mangum, Roy Chlarson and Mike Ferron Word was received of the death of Mary Hatch, a former Tropic resident. Lillus Francisco made a trip to St. George to have her little girl's feet checked by Dr. Capple. Reports are she is doing well Next Sunday will be Fast Sunday because the following week is Oneral Conference. Renone, Suzann and Alan Hodson. of New Mexico visited with the Ray Littlefields this week Truic Allen was in St George visiting her son John and his wife and in Parowan visiting her husband, Ellis. The Relief Society party was a success and the theme "The Good Old Days" was carried out in decorations, meal, program and dancing L Verne Jolley enjoyed a visit from her mother who lives in Fillmore. Roberta Cox and two daughters from Reno, Nev. visited the Owen Shakespears. Mrs. Shakespear had four generations of girls there with her. Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Stewart visited Mr. and Mrs. Iieon Stewart in Monroe. Mrs. Carol Lindley and Mrs. Helen Nichols from Arizona, are visiting with Norma Chlarson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Willis have a new grandson born to Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Willis. Ruth Baugh and children visited with the Blake Robinsons in Escalante. Herman and Zora Bell Pollock flew to Seattle and will spend a week with their daughter, Olene Pollock and family in Ellensburg. Wash Mr. and Mrs Norman Barton brought his mother. Beatrice, home from Cedar City. Mrs Gam Haycock visited her daughter Carna Kay and family in Yuma, Ariz. The Lions Club held a zone meeting in Tropic Preparations were made for the Lions Van that will be in the area the first of April |
