Show Visit Kodachrome For Easter Trip Easter is an excellent time to visit beautiful Kodachrome Basin State Reserve located nine miles southeast of Cannonville, said Tom Shakespeare, ranger. The weather has been superb the last couple of weeks with daytime temperatures in the 60's and low 70's and nighttime lows in the 30's and 40's. The park is furnished with a 24 unit campground, water, group use area, picnic tables, fire pits and grills and pit toilets. The park's main features are the unique spires or rock chimneys protruding from the sandstone, which offer unrivaled scenery and picture taking. The kids love to hike and play on the red sandstone rocks. A short nature trail is also available to visitors. |
