Show Panguitch winners were Mary Jean Yattle, Pam Meyers, Cindy Conwell. Annette Hatch. Tammy Evans. "Love is . . ." That universal theme was cleverly expressed through art and literary compositions by almost 60 exhibits during the Region 17 PTA Reflec tions Project at Panguitch High School. The contest was part of a nation-wide cultural arts contest sponsored by PTA Judges, selected to represent each of the 4 am JaWaaW. dated Bryce Valley winners (back) Christina Henry (front) Leah Smith. P-TA Compositions Win During Program schools participating, were Mrs. Ella Adair and Mrs. Evadean Francisco, Tropic; Mrs. Thirza Proctor and Mrs. Verna Owens, Panguitch, and Mrs. Leona Swallow, Kanab. Over 400 entires were displayed by students at Kanab Elementary, Panguitch Elementary, Panguitch High School and Bryce Valley schools. Entries were judged according to grade level The winning entries were created by Cindy Conwell, 10th grade; Tammy Evans, 7th grade; Pam Meyer, 5th grade; Annette Hatch, 2nd grade; Lorraine Liston, 9th grade, and Mary Jean Yazzie, 11th grade, all of Panguitch; Kimberly Thorne, 5th grade; Andrea Sowa, 4th grade; Kelli Crosby, 4th grade; Cherilyn Robinson, 4th grade; and Jeanette Banks, 3rd grade, all of Kanab; Crystal Mangum, 4th grade, Leah Smith, 2nd grade; Sheila LaFevre, 3rd grade; and Kristine Henry, 9th grade all of Tropic. |
