Show Tropic Topics Ells Adair 7-SM8 Henry Jolley attended an administrator's meeting in Salt Lake City over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Feltner are the parents of a baby girl born Jan. 13 In the Garfield Memorial Hospital. Glenda and Hobert Feltner, of Cannonville, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Riddle, of Las Vegas, are the proud grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Pollock are the proud grandparents of a new granddaughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pollock, In Texas, on Jan. 13th. Wanda and Roy Shakespear were in Cedar City for medical checkups Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Sawyer, of Hatch, visited with them during the week. The Arnold Adairs made a business trip to Cedar City. The Vernal Shakespears, Earl Jolleys and James Munsons spent the past week In St. George. Speakers in sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Bracken berry, new members of the ward. Marilyn Jackson was released and Patti Munson was sustained as the pre-Primary director in the ward. Fast Sunday will be Jan 30, due to stake conference the following week. Reed LeFevre made a trip to Las Vegas and brought his mother Flora back home. She reports that Ethel LeFevre is doing very well, and is able to get around with her walker. Merle Richards spent a few days this past week in Tropic. Loral and Norman Barton were home for the weekend. Lynn and Joyn Allen and families spent the weekend with the Ellis Aliens and Royal Alveys. Ruth Baugh has enjoyed a visit from her mother for the past week. Kerry and Donna Nelson visited in Tropic with the Ram says. Liz Cairo went to Provo and took some of the students with her. Irene Munson is home from the hospital and is feeling much better. Beatrice Barton and daughter-in-law, Linda Barton had a frightening experience when they visited with her mother In Henrieville. They started their car to come home. There was a pop and a bang! Flames poured out from under the hood and they had to hurry and get out before they were hurt, the old car had too much life for them. Sara Lou Sudweeks went to St. George to visit the doctor. Out of town family members who attended the funeral services for Getta Shakespear were Harold Shakespar of Juno, Alaska; Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Delong, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. McMillen, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Winn, Monroe; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Winn, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Marshall, Plesant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Sexton, Joyce, Chad and Jessica Flannigan, Mrs. Carla Herburger, Las Vegas; the Thomas A. Evans family, Mr. and Mrs. DeLoy Dutton, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Willis, Mr. and Mrs. Ed DeLong, Mrs. Richard Delong, Eloise Talley and family.
