Show Tliree Classes Offered Adults in Garfield Co. Panguitch-Hatch community adult education classes are continuing with three new classes being offered. Advanced type will be taught by John Yardley every Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. at Panguitch High School; men's physical education class, under Kay Englestead and Ron Riggs is held every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the gymnasium. The men and women's shop class has again been started and will continue for seven more weeks every Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Panguitch Shop room, taught by Jack Soper. Future classes on the agenda will be behavior psycology, slimnastics, bookkeeping, English, photography and cake decorating. The classes just completed were very successful. The shop class was attended by 18 women who made such items as toy boxes, quilting frames, bunk beds, picture frames and other large and smaller items. There were also over 20 men participating in the class. The art class, held every Wednesday evenings under Michael James Clarke was well attended turning people with little or no art experience into beautiful painters. There will be another class started in the spring. The beginning type class, taught by John Yardley caused the women taking the class to progress remarkably fast. Persons interested in staring one of the classes being offered either contact the teachers or Mrs. Roene Dickinson, Panguitch. |
