Show s9ssHtHtH!t9HIHH Krlstlne Moore Technician Assigned To Bryce BRYCE CANYON Mary 11. Wood is Bryce Canyon National Parks most recent permanent addition to the staff. She will be residing in the park housing area. Miss Wood, a native of San Rafael, Calif., is a graduate of California State University with a bachelor of arts degree in recreation administration and resource management. During her college years she was employed with the Lassen National Park Company in Lassen Volcanic National Park. Since completion of her formal education, she has worked as an environmental education instructor with the Redwood Glen School in Scotts Valley, California, a forest technician in Tahoe National Forest, California, a forest technician at Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, Utah, and a park technician at the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Miss Wood was a park technician at Federal Hall National Monument in New York City when she was offered, and accepted, the position with Bryce Canyon. She brings with her a rich and varied background of experiences in park interpretation, museum exhibit development, environmental education, park resources management, and recreational use of parks. |
