Show Withdrawal Of Kaiparowits Right-of-Way All right-of-way applications by Southern California Edison, Arizona Public Service and Kaiser Engineers related to the proposed Kaiparowits power project in Kane County have now been withdrawn by the companies. In making the announcement, Paul L. Howard, Bureau of Land Management state director in Utah, said 28 applications by these companies will be removed from the land ownership records at BLM state offices in Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Sacramento and Reno. The cases are officially closed, he added. These rights-of-way were associated with the Kaiparowits coal mining project as well as the proposed power plant and supporting activities. Involved were rights-of-way for power' lines, waterlines, conveyor belts, and access roads to radio and microwave station sites, and other facilities, Mr, Howard said. |
