Show Hypertension Screen Clinics Set in Area The Southwestern Utah District Health Department will hold special hypertension screening clinics in each county during the first two weeks in June. These clinics will coincide with hypertension month (May) in Utah. High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a common disorder. In this country, it is estimated at least 17 million people have it Medical research has not yet found what causes most cases of hypertension. But so much has been learned about treating it that today many hypertensive persons can look forward to years of comfortable and productive living. Free blood pressures will be taken in each Health Department office at the following times: Kanab June 2, 10 a.m. 4 p.m., 175 W. 300 North, St. George June 7, 10 a.m. 4 p.m., 197 E Tabernacle. Cedar City June 8, 10 a.m. -4 p.m., 1552 W 200 North. Panguitch June 9, 10 a.m. 4 p.m., 75 N. 200 E. |
