Show Three Win Silver Beaver Scout Awards at Banquet Three south-central Utah residents were honored by receiving the Silver Beaver award during the annual Utah National Parks Council fellowship banquet in Provo by the Boy Scouts of America. D. Carl Warnock, Sigurd; Thad Wasden, Aurora; and K. Freshwater, Panguitch; were among the recipients of the award program, held in conjunction with the banquet in the Wilkinson Center on the campus of Brigham Young University. The Silver Beaver award Is the highest honor any adult scout leader can receive. Mr. Warnock, a teacher at Richfield Junior High School, has been working In the scout program for 17 years. He has served as cubmaster, scoutmaster, district commissioner and is presently district chairman for the Fish Lake District. Mr, Freshwater has served 15 years In scouting, Including the1, cub program, Back committeeman and scout-o-rama committee member. |
