Show Tourism, Trade Seminars Set In Garfield County The Garfield County Advertising Committee is sponsoring a two-day seminar to enlighten the public on the advantages of Garfield County In tourism and trade. The first session ss scheduled Wednesday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m. in the Garfield County Court Room in Panguitch. The second session will be held May 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Ruby's Inn. Guest lecturers for the seminar are Randall Lyman, Escalante, owner of the Padre Motel and Jasper Crawford, Panguitch, owner of the Horizon Motel. Mr. Lyman will present slides of Garfield County pointing out the scenic attractions and Mr. Crawford will present pertinent information concerning the residents of Garfield County and give his view of meeting the public and handling tourism within the county. According to Neil Duncan, Garfield County Advertising Chairman, the seminar will be both Interesting and worthwhile. All interested people who work with people are encouraged to attend. |
