Show Vidn Collnhnn GLENDALE - Vlda M. Elder Porter Callahan, 80, Glendale, died May 4, 1975, in a Salt Lake City hospital following a short illness. She was born June 30, 1894, Kingston, to George Henry and Lydia Ann Morrill Elder. She was married to Nathan Alma Porter, Sept. 12, 1912, Mantl LDS Temple. He died April 30, 1937. She was married to Robert Parker Callahan, May 27, 1940, Lyman. He died Aug. 1, 1968. She was active in the LDS Church and was a temple worker. She was an avid artist, writer and hobbyist. Survivors: sons, daughter, Dee Porter, Glendale; N. Grandon Porter, Lerin Porter, both Cedar City; Ray A. Porter, Mrs. Lawrence (Marie) Lar-sen; both Salt Lake City; Lyle G. Porter, lona, Ida.; step-sons, step-daughters: Mrs. Richard (Phebe) Castell, South America; Dee Callahan, Mrs. Jaybe (Shirley) Childers, both St. George; Frank Callahan, Salt Lake City; Mrs. George (Beth) Counts, Sacramento, Calif.; Dick Callahan, Battle Mountain, Nev.; 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ada Snow, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Leona Stratton, Hurricane; Mrs. Edra Williams, Richfield; Mrs. Georgia Anderson, LDS jnission, Boston, Mass. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Glendale Ward chapel where friends call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Hatch Cemetery by Neal S.
