OCR Text	Show Schools Close. Tho schools of Hox Elder county closed Thursday and tcachors and pupils will onjoy a summer vacation. The Garland tcachors gavo tho children a grand frco ball at the hall Thursday evening and an enjoyablo time was tho outcome. Miss La Von Griffiths and Miss Freda Nelson lcavo today for their homes in Clarkston and Urlgham City respectively. Principal Hurdett Smith has accepted a position with tho C. W. & M. Co. for tho summer season. The Garland North schools took an outing to Wheeler's Grove yesterday and Miss Mabel Watktns leaves today for her homo In Urlgham City. Miss Zcra Wilde of the East Garland school will also return to Hrlgham. Miss Sarah Fowler held n closing ox-erclso ox-erclso program at the Trcmont school Thursday afternoon and will spend tho snmmcr with bar parents of this city.
