Claim Nearly Cost Life. Fred McNulty, of tilts city, had a terrible experience while holding down a claim which ho has several miles east ot here. Ho went to tho claim just before the big blizzard of last week. Tho weather previously had been mild, and McNulty had no store of fuel In tho shack. Tho storm was so fierce that ho could not mako his way homo, so ho went to bed In order to keep from freezing to death. For thrco days tho storm raged, and McNulty Mc-Nulty lay covered up to his ears, without with-out a blto to cat and only a small quantity of water. When at last the storm subsided ho mndo his way to a neighbor's, a mllo distant, freezing his face and can. wnlle cn route.
