All tho mines in this district uro closed down except ex-cept tho leasers on tho Mohawk and Hnycs-Mouucttc, and the Issuance by Judge Morrow In tho United States circuit court of an Injunction to prohibit pro-hibit tho unlawful removnl of high-grndo high-grndo ore from tho leases ou tho Mohawk Mo-hawk property and tho appointment of fifty United States deputy marshals mar-shals is almost sure to result in tho discontinuance of work at both tho Hayes-Monnette nnd Frnnces Mohawk Mo-hawk mines. The I. W. W. declared on Dec. 11 that no miner will worlc in a mlno where 'armed guards arc employed. The enforcement of tho federal order will mean that tho guards, which woro removed Dec. 14, will bo openly replaced.
