Every year hundreds of rowers from abroad as well as Britain, flock to this quaint market town, 36 miles uost of London, to compee for the covalso eted cups. Henley attracts tourists from all over the world, many of whom are Americans visiting London and plan a side trip to the regatta. 4-- There are 12 different events running at Phyllis Court Club during the four days. The decision is on a knockout basis so the number of races each day tapers from over 60 to lapses on the first five-minu- and day, to finally to finals on the last day.
