In 1935 he joined Asarco as a m geologist and engineer Coeur dAlene, Idaho. f 4 V ON A 'v v fkt BETTER JOB 4 he was appointed chief geologist to Asarcos Northwest department and was later made resident engineer m New York. In 1963 he was appointed vice president in charge of exploration. In 1944 Mr. Pollock was a member of the University Club of New York, the Westchester Country Club, the Mining Club of New York, the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers, the Mining and Metallc-gic- al Society and the Geological Society of America. He is survived by his widow, te former Helen E. Latimer a son. Wila daughter, liam Warren; Mrs. Sharon LeeLeymisterand four grandchildren.
