All children from infancy through five years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to attend for stories and learning activities. Children are introduced to books, music, and art, and participate in learning activities. Infants to 3 years, 10:30 a.m.; four and five year olds at 11:00 a.m. A craft activity to follow at 11:30. May 1: The Ogden Valley Community is invited to a meeting at Valley Elementary at 6:00 p.m. It will be held in the Media Center/Library. The School Improvement Plan consists of three areas: Safety Plan; Critical Learning Needs; Teaching Development Needs. This plan will be reviewed at this meeting. May 1: Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Snowcrest Jr. High library, State of Utah personal property rights ombudsman Craig Call will present a seminar particularly designed to answer citizen questions about what a city can and can’t do relative to land use and property rights. Please plan on attending. This meeting is being hosted by the incorporation feasibility steering committee. The oil paintings of Brandon Cook will be exhibited in the Main Gallery, while in the Carriage House Gallery the smaller works of Robert A. Call and the floral paintings of Jennie Taylor will be featured. An opening reception will held in association with the gallery and street stroll on Friday May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. The works will be exhibit through May 31.
